The mean value of the soluble concentrations of the test item in water is 60 mg/L at 20 °C.

The concentrations were constant over the time period of the test and a sufficed deposit of test item was available. But the chromatograms showed that the test item is not stable in water, because there are some peaks of hydrolysis products of the test item.

Conclusions:
In the present study conducted according to EU method A.6 (December 29, 1992) the water solubility of the test substance was determined by the flask method and verified by HPLC. Due to peaks considered to be hydrolysis products of the test item the substance is supposed to be not stable in water. However, the concentrations were stable during the experiment, thus, the test item is considered to be slightly soluble (0.1-100 mg/L).
The mean value of the concentrations of the test item in water is 60 mg/L at 20 °C.

Description of key information

- Guideline study according to EU Method A.6; mean water solubility of test item: 60 mg/L at 20°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Water solubility:
60 mg/L
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

The mean water solubility of the test item was determined to be 60 mg/L at 20°C in a guideline study according to EU Method A.6. Thus, the water solubility of the test item is 60 mg/L at 20°C.
