Description of key information
In a preliminary study (Chastenet, 2018a), DMDO was shown stable at pH 1.2 and 4. It was abiotically unstable at pH 7 and 9 with 15 -25% degradation observed after 5 days incubation at 50°C. In the definitive study (Chastenet, 2018b), half-lives of DMDO were determined at 25°C.
At pH 7, estimated HL was 87 - 109 days
At pH 9, estimated HL was 84 - 89 days
