Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Conclusion on classification

Classification related key information

- Biodegradation: Readily biodegradable according to OECD criteria (85% in 28 days, 10day window passed, OECD F)

- Bioaccumulation: log Pow -3.45 (OECD 107, shake-flask method) and -3.8 (estimation using the solubility ratio between water and octanol)

Aquatic acute toxicity:

Aquatic invertebrates: EC50 (48 h) > 100 mg/L (nominal, Daphnia magna, OECD 202)

Algae: ErC50 (72 h) > 100 mg/L (nominal, Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata, OECD 201)

Aquatic chronic toxicity:

Algae: ErC10 (72 h) > 100 mg/L (nominal, Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata, OECD 201)

Classification justification according to CLP

Data on the short-term toxicity of the substance to aquatic organisms are available for two trophic levels (aquatic invertebrates and algae). A chronic effect concentration is available for algae. No toxic effects were identified towards the tested organisms. Furthermore, the substance is ready biodegradable and has a limited potential for bioaccumulation based on the low log Pow. Therefore, the test item is not classified and labelled for environmental hazards according to the consolidated version of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 and further amendments (ATPs).
