Description of key information

The stability of the test item in water was determined in an experimental study performed in accordance with the OECD 111 Test Guideline and GLP requirements.

The test item was shown to be hydrolytically unstable at pH 1.2, 4, 7 and 9 and at temperatures ranging from 15 to 50°C. The half-life at pH 1.2 and 37°C was 24.58 h. The half-lives at pH 4 ranged from 14.17 to 66.65 h. The half-lives at pH 7 ranged from 8.36 to 93.67 h. The half-lives at pH 9 ranged from 7.03 to 99.02 h.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Half-life for hydrolysis:
93.67 h
at the temperature of:
15 °C

Additional information

The value selected for chemical safety assessment was the half-life estimated at 15°C and pH 7.
