Executive summary:

A study was performed according to Regulation (EC) No 440/2008, Method A.16 in order to determine the relative self-ignition temperature of the test item with the help of the automatic auto-ignition tester. A certain amount of the test item under the assay was placed in the oven at ambient temperature. The temperatures of the oven and the sample were continuously recorded. While the temperature of the oven was increased at a rate of approximately 0.6 °C/min, the temperature of the sample was increased by about 0.5 °C/min up to the decomposition temperature of 236.8 °C. It its expected that until the decomposition point no self-ignition of test item will be observed. Thus, for the test item no self-ignition temperature could be stated.
