Description of key information
Bioaccumulation
The source material 4-[difluoro(3,4,5-trifluorophenoxy)methyl]-2',3,5-trifluoro-4''-propyl-1,1':4',1''-terphenyl showed no relevant bioaccumulation at concentration levels at or above the water solubility. The OECD GLP criteria were met and the methods applied are fully compliant with OECD TG 305. The steady state BCF values were at 63 and 53 (mean 58). It is assumed that the target substance would as well have low bioaccumulation potential due to the high similarity in the structures.
