According to the test guideline, the result found after an incubation time of 72 hours should not exceed by more than 15 % the result found after an incubation time of 48 hours. Thus, the acceptance criterium was fulfilled and the saturation was achieved after 24 hours. Therefore, the study is valid. The R² fits of the calibration curve used was 0.9996. This reflects the linearity of the analytical system within the calibration range of 0.674 to 2.83 mg test item /L.

Conclusion

During this study, the water solubility of the test was determined at 20°C at a mean pH value of 3.7 using the shake flask method. The water solubility was found to be 18.0 g/L ± 0.3 g/L.

Conclusions:
A water solubility value of 18.0 +/- 0.3 g/L (at 20 °C, pH = 3.7) was determined for the test substance according to OECD 105.
