Endpoint:
water solubility
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Study period:
Experiental starting date 4th May 2016. Experimental completion date 20th June 2017. Final report issued 13th October 2017.
Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 105 (Water Solubility)
Deviations:
no
GLP compliance:
yes (incl. QA statement)
Type of method:
flask method
Key result
Water solubility:
ca. 0.214 g/L
Conc. based on:
test mat.
Temp.:
20 °C
pH:
ca. 7.2 - ca. 7.6
Details on results:
The mean concentration was: 0.214 g/L at 20°C. The standard deviation is : 2.65 x10-3 g/L. All the individual results were within +/- 15% of the mean, thus satisfying the criteria specified in the guidelines.
Conclusions:
The water solubility of the test item has been determined to be 0.214 g/L of solution at 20°C +/ - 0.5°C.
Executive summary:

Introduction

The water solubility was determined by using a visual assessment.using a method designed to be compatible with Method A6 water solubility of commission regulation ( EC) no 440/2008 of 30th May 2008 and method 105 of the OECD guidelines for the testing of chemicals 27th July 1995.

The test system consisted of purified water with a resistivity of greater than 15 Mega Ohms.

Conclusion

The water solubility of the test item has been determined to be 0.214g/L at 20°C +/ - 0.5°C.
