The results of the main study on the determination of the flash-point of the test item are given inTable 5.

The difference between the results obtained with the Test 1 and Test 2 was≤2°C. From this, it was concluded that the flash-point of the test item is the lowest flash-point obtained.

Interpretation of results:
Category 3 (flammable liquids) based on GHS criteria
Conclusions:
The closed cup method was applied for the determination of the flash-point of Trimethoxyboroxine (TMBX).
Since the flash-point of the test item was in the range in the range of 23°C +/- 2°C the equilibrium method was applied. The flash-point of the test item obtained with the equilibrium method was 25°C.

Description of key information

The closed cup method was applied for the determination of the flash-point of Trimethoxyboroxine (TMBX).

Since the flash-point of the test item was in the range in the range of 23°C +/- 2°C the equilibrium method was applied.  The flash-point of the test item obtained with the equilibrium method was 25°C.
