Description of key information

Inulinase is readily biodegradable, has a low octanol-water partition coefficient (<0) and is highly water soluble. From this it can be concluded that inulinase will not absorb to sediment or soil and hence, will be in the aqueous phase. In addition, no bioaccumulation is expected in aquatic or terrestrial organisms.
