no self-ignition

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A study was conducted according EU method A.16 to determine the self-ignition temperature of the substance. The substance under test was placed in an oven at room temperature; the temperature/time curve was recorded while the temperature of the oven is increased to 400 °C at a rate of 0,5 °C/min. At 245.5 °C, a temperature rise of the sample by 10 K was observed. However, as 400 °C was not reached, this is not to be interpreted as self-ignition according to regulation EC 440/2008, annex A.16.
