Description of key information
Two studies with the test substance on Daphnia magna were conducted.
The NOEC and EC50 for Daphnia magna were determined to be 32 mg/L and 55 mg/L, respectively in the earlier study.
The NOEC and EC50 for Daphnia magna were determined to be 2.0 mg/L and 6.6 mg/L, respectively in the later study.
The later study was performed under GLP with a more detailed report.
Thus the later study is assumed to be more reliable and the following values were used for classification and assessment:
NOEC 48h: 2.0 mg/L
EC50: 6.6 mg/L
Key value for chemical safety assessment
Fresh water invertebrates
Fresh water invertebrates
- Effect concentration:
- 6.6 mg/L
