First-aid measures

General information Get medical advice/attention if you have a doubt or if symptomes are observed.

Inhalation Remove person to fresh air and keep warm and at rest. In case of respiratory tract irritation, consult a physician.

Ingestion Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. if accidentally swallowed, rinse mouth thoroughly with water. Give plenty of water to drink. Get medical attention if symptoms are severe or persist. Do not induce vomiting.

Skin contact Remove contaminated clothing. Rinse with plenty of water and soap. Get medical attention if symptoms are severe or persist.

Eye contact Rinse immediately with plenty of water. Continue to rinse for at least 15 minutes holding eyelids apart. Get medical attention if symptoms are severe or persist.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media

Suitable extinguishing media Extinguish with alcohol-resistant foam, carbon dioxide, dry powder or sand. Use fireextinguishing media suitable for the surrounding fire. In csae of a large fire, alcohol resistant foam and water spray.

Unsuitable extingusinign media: full water jet

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:
Hazardous combustion products: Thermal decomposition or combustion products may include the following substances: Oxides of carbon. Burning produces heavy smoke. Do not inhale explosion and combustion gases.

Advice for firefighters:
Wear a self-contanied breathing apparatus and chemical protective clothing. Move undamaged containers from immediate hazard area if it can be done safely. Collect contaminated fire extingushing water separately. do not allow entering drains or surface ater.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
For non-emergency personnel: Keep unnecessary and unprotected personnel away from the spillage.

Environmental precautions
Environmental precautions Avoid discharge into drains or watercourses or onto the ground. Ensure waste is collectede and contained.

Methods and material for containment and cleaning up

Small spill: Soak up with inert absorbent material (e.g. sand, silca gel, acid binder, universal binder, sawdust).
Large spill: Contain the maerial using barriers of absorbent pigs or similar.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling Usage precautions Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Avoid generation and spreading of dust. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid inhalation of dust and vapours. Handle and open container with care.

Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Storage precautions Keep container tightly closed in a cool, dry, well-ventillated place. Keep away from source of ignition.
Suitable container / equipement material: Keep only in the originla container.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Control parameters Occupational exposure limits No exposure limits known for ingredient(s).

Exposure controls
Appropriate engineering controls
Provide adequate ventilation especially in confined spaces.

Eye/face protection Unless the assessment indicates a higher degree of protection is required, the following protection should be worn: Tight-fitting safety glasses. Personal protective equipment for eye and face protection should comply with European Standard EN166.

Hand protection Wear protective gloves. To protect hands from chemicals, gloves should comply with European Standard EN374.

Other skin and body protection Wear appropriate clothing and protective shoes to prevent repeated or prolonged skin contact.

Respiratory protection Respiratory protection complying with an approved standard should be worn if a risk assessment indicates inhalation of contaminants is possible. Ensure all respiratory protective equipment is suitable for its intended use and is ‘CE’-marked.

Environmental exposure controls Keep container tightly sealed when not in use.

Stability and reactivity

Reactivity
Reactivity None under normal use conditions.

Chemical stability Stability: Stable under the prescribed storage conditions.

Possibility of hazardous reactions: None under normal processing

Conditions to avoid : Avoid heat.

Incompatible materials: Materials to avoid Strong oxidising agents, strong acids, strong bases.

Hazardous decomposition products: none under normal use of conditions.

Disposal considerations

Waste treatment methods
General information Dispose of waste to licensed waste disposal site in accordance with the requirements of the local Waste Disposal Authority. This material and its container must be disposed of in a safe way. When handling waste, the safety precautions applying to handling of the product should be considered.

Contaminated packaging: Do not reuse container. Dispose of in accordance with local regulations.
