Description of key information

In an OECD202 key study 1-Propanaminium, 3-amino-N-(carboxymethyl)-N,N-dimethyl-, N-C18 (unsaturated) acyl derivs., hydroxides, inner salts was found to immobilise daphnia magna after 48 hours at a geometric mean measured concentration of EC50 = 4.85 (3.43 -6.86) mg a.i./L.

In addition, in a supporting study (ISO 14669) on the marine species Arcatia tonsa a nominal EC50=5.8 mg/L was found. The concentration of the active is not specified.
