Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The acute toxicity to fish was examined in a study in accordance with OECD guideline 203 and GLP. In this study 10 fish (Oncorhynchus mykiss, rainbow trout) were exposed to a nominal concentration of 120 mg/L under static conditions for 96 hours (Magor 2000). The concentration was analytically verified and found to be stable over the duration of the test. At the test concentration of 120 mg/L no mortality was observed. Based on these data the 96-h LC50 was determined to be >120 mg/L.
