Conclusion on classification

The 96-hour LC50 for fish, the 48-hour EC50 for crustacea, and the 72-hour ErC50 for algae were 2200, >100, and 70.6 mg/L, respectively. Based on all the available data, the test substance does not need to be classified for acute aquatic toxicity according to EU Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP) Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.

Based on the lack of chronic data, a 72 -hour EC50 in algae of 70.6 mg/L, and the fact that the substance is not readily biodegradable, the test substance is classified as Chronic Cat 3 (H412: Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects) according to EU Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP) Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
