First-aid measures

General information: Immediately remove any clothing soiled by the product.

After inhalation: Supply fresh air; consult doctor in case of complaints.

After skin contact: Immediately wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly. If skin irritation continues, consult a doctor.

After eye contact: Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.

After swallowing: If swallowed, rinse mouth with water (only if the person is conscious). Drink plenty of water and provide fresh air. If symptoms persist consult doctor.

Information for doctor: Treat symptomatically.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing agents: All extinguishing substances suitable. Use fire extinguishing methods suitable to surrounding conditions.

For safety reasons unsuitable extinguishing agents: Water with full jet

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: None

Protective equipment: Wear self-contained respiratory protective device.

Additional information: Dispose of fire debris and contaminated fire-fighting water in accordance with local or national regulations.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: Ensure adequate ventilation. Avoid formation of dust. Use respiratory protective device against the effects of fumes/dust/aerosol.

Environmental precautions: Do not allow to enter sewers/ surface or ground water.

Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Pick up mechanically. Avoid formation of dust. Dispose of the material collected according to local or national regulations.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling: Prevent formation of dust. Provide suction extractors if dust is formed. Any unavoidable deposit of dust must be regularly removed.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Additional information about design of technical facilities: Ensure good ventilation/exhaustion at the workplace.

General protective and hygienic measures: Do not eat, drink, smoke or sniff while working. Wash hands before breaks and at the end of work. Do not inhale dust / smoke / mist. Use skin protection cream for skin protection.

Respiratory protection: Not necessary if room is well-ventilated. Use suitable respiratory protective device when high concentrations are present.

Recommended filter device for short term use: Filter P2, Filter FFP2.

Protection of hands/material of gloves: Butyl rubber, BR, Nitrile rubber, NBR.

Penetration time of glove material: Value for the permeation: Level ≥ 120 min (EN374).

Stability and reactivity

Thermal decomposition / conditions to be avoided: No decomposition if used and stored according to specifications. The substance is stable.
