Results and discussion

Relative self-ignition temperature (solids)
Relative self-ignition temperature:
> 400 °C
Remarks on result:
no self ignition observed under the test conditions

Any other information on results incl. tables

Results:

The test item was an orange powder. Whilst heating the test item, no relevant exothermic reaction/self-heating of the sample has been observed. On completion of the test, the test item was acharred black, powdery, expanded mass.

Discussion:

Although there were signs of self-heating the temperature did not reach 400 °C therefore was not considered to be significant.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The test item has been determined not to have a relative self-ignition temperature below 400 °C.
Executive summary:

Relative Self-Ignition Temperature for Solids. No relative self-ignition below 400 °C, using a procedure designed to be compatible with Method A.16 Relative Self-Ignition Temperature for Solids of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008.
