GHS

General Information

Name:
GHS_Classification: Fatty acids, safflower-oil, Et esters (Ethyl Linoleate)
Implementation:
EU
Type of classification:
self-classification
Remarks:

Environmental Classification :

The test item is derived from natural raw material and is characterised as an UVCB.

It has been determined to be READILY Biodegradable in biodegradation screening studies and the major components of the mixture have a logPow > 4.0.

Aquatic Toxicity tests have been performed on two trophic levels - Algae and Daphnia - in compliance with testing requirements for Annex VII notifications. The results are :

Acute Daphnia EL50 (48 hr) = 3.8 mg/L

Algal Inhibition EL50 (72 hour) > 100 mg/L (growth rate and yield); NOELR (72 hour) = 32 mg/L (growth rate and yield).

Based on EU-GHS classification rules, the environmental classification is, as follows :

Acute : NO CLASSIFICATION

Chronic : C2 / H411
