MAIN TEST
The solution of each flask has been measured twice at 20 °C.
To verify the accuracy of the analytical method, freshly prepared standard solutions (prepared with the test item) were measured in between the samples of the flask method; the recovery rate of the measured standard solutions was in the range from 98.4 % to 100.8 %, which shows a good accuracy of the analytical method.

PRELIMINARY TEST
The preliminary test at room temperature showed that water solubility of test item was between 7.9 g/l and 29.8 g/l.

Executive summary:

Water solubility of the substance was investigated according to the OECD guideline 105. The preliminary test, conducted at room temperature, showed that water solubility of test item was between 7.9 g/l and 29.8 g/l, thus flask method was used for the main experiment.

The concentration in the clear aqueous phase was determined by HPLC-UV validate method. The pH of each sample was recorded. The water solubility of test item was determined to be 88.50 g/l at 20 °C and pH 8.5 to 8.6

To verify the accuracy of the analytical method, freshly prepared standard solutions (prepared with the test item) were measured in between the samples of the flask method; the recovery rate of the measured standard solutions was in the range from 98.4 % to 100.8 %, which shows a good accuracy of the analytical method.

Conclusion

Water solubility: 88.50 g/l at 20 °C and pH 8.5 to 8.6
