Specific details on test material used for the study:
The test was performed with the test substance in its original state.
Test procedure:
burning rate test over 100 mm length
Burning time:
1 290 - 1 590 s

After ignition with a Bunsen Burner, the substance glows over the whole lenght of the pile without visible flame.

The glowing times over the test tract of 100 mm were as folows:

1) 1350 sec.

2) 1290 sec.

3) 1410 sec.

4) 1350 sec.

5) 1410 sec.

Interpretation of results:
other: non classified, according to the CLP Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008
Conclusions:
Non flammable
Executive summary:

The determination of flammability was carried out according to EEC Directive 84/449, Part A, A.10. FIammabiIity Solids. The test was performed with the test substance in its original state.

After ignition with a Bunsen Burner, the substance glows over the whole lenght of the pile without visible flame.

The glowing times over the test tract of 100 mm were as folows: 1) 1350 sec., 2) 1290 sec., 3) 1410 sec., 4) 1350 sec. and 5) 1410 sec.

The test item is considered to be non flammable.

Conclusion

Non flammable.

EU Method A.10

Justification for classification or non-classification

According to the CLP Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, powdered, granular or pasty substances or mixtures shall be classified as readily combustible solids when the time of burning of one or more of the test runs, performed in accordance with the test method described in Part III, sub-section 33.2.1, of the UN Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, Manual of Tests and Criteria, is less than 45 seconds or the rate of burning is more than 2.2 mm/s.

The screening test gave negative results, thus the substance is not classified as flammable, according to the CLP classification criteria.
