Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

No data on target substance was available, thus a read across approach was followed using data on Similar Substance 01. Details on the read across approach are attached in section 13.

Similar Substance 01 was investigated for its potential (inherent) ultimate biodegradability in a Zahn-Wellens / EMPA test over 28 days, based on the OECD 302 B. In the test flasks containing the test item and inoculum, the mean concentration of DOC (dissolved organic carbon) remained constant during the exposure period of 28 days; consequently, the substance was not biodegradable under the test conditions within 28 days. No DOC removal was observed during the first three hours of exposure, which is an indication that the test item did not adsorb on the activated sludge (inoculum).
