Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Details on results:
The water solubility of the test item has been determined to be 0.653 g/L of solution at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C, calculated using the total peak area of all detected components within the test item and a standardized initial
nominal saturation loading rate concentration of 1.00 g/L. As the test item was a complex mixture, the evaluation of water solubility also included an assessment of the influence of loading rate.
Information from the Sponsor indicating at least 20 discrete species identified by gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC-MS) analysis.
Of the identified species, all but diethylenetriamine (1.66%) presented aromatic functional groups and hence the decision to detect the test item by UV absorbance at 270 nm.
Calculation of equivalent test item concentrations have therefore been performed based on the total peak area of all components detected although individual components demonstrated
differing solubility characteristics with later eluting, higher partition coefficient and therefore more hydrophobic species showing reduced solubility at all loading rates.
Conclusions:
Water Solubility of 1,2-Ethanediamine, N-(2-aminoethyl)-, reaction products with glycidyl tolyl ether was determined to be 0.653 g/L at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C, calculated using the total peak area of all detected components within the test item and a standardized initial nominal saturation loading rate concentration of 1.00 g/L.
Executive summary:

Water Solubility of 1,2-Ethanediamine, N-(2-aminoethyl)-, reaction products with glycidyl tolyl ether was determined to be 0.653 g/L  at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C, calculated using the total peak area of all detected components within the test item and a standardized initial nominal saturation loading rate concentration of 1.00 g/L.
