Description of key information

The particle size distribution of 4-Amino-m-cresol on different analytical sieves after 45 minutes was 1.16, 1.62, 4.93, 3.47, 27.36 and 61.47% at analytical sieves with the mesh width 1.0, 0.710, 0.125, 0.075, 0.045 and <0.045 mm.

The mean particle size of 4-Amino-m-cresol was 0.094 mm with fine dust and 0.171 mm without fine dust.

Additional information

The particle size distribution of 4-Amino-m-cresol was determined following CIPAC (Collaborative International Pesticide Analytical Council), Analysis of Technical and Formulated Pesticides, MT 170 "Dry sieve analysis" method.

The sieve analysis was carried out in the dry sieving technique using analytical sieves with the mesh width 1.0, 0.710, 0.125, 0.075, 0.045 and <0.045 mm.

The test was run for 45 minutes. However, additional data series were also obtained after 90 and 300 minutes.

The particle size distribution of4-Amino-m-cresol at different passages after 45 minutes was:

1.16% at 1.0 mm

1.62% at 0.710 mm

4.93% at 0.125 mm

3.47% at 0.075 mm

27.36% at 0.045 mm and,

61.47% at <0.045 mm

The mean particle size, with fine dust, was 0.094 mm. The mean particle size, without fine dust, was 0.171 mm.
