Additional information

Abiotic degradation of Isohexadecyl 12-[(1-oxooctadecyl)oxy]octadecanoate (CAS 97338-28-8) is not a relevant pathway. Since the substance is not expected to evaporate to the atmospheric compartment, indirect photodegradation in air is not relevant. Abiotic hydrolysis is not relevant because the substance is readily biodegradable and is thus expected to be eliminated from most natural environments, including biological sewage treatment plants. Additionally, the estimated half-life for hydrolysis is high (DT50 > 1 yr).
