Description of key information

The test item melted in the range of 148.4 °C to 152.1 °C (421.5 K to 425.3 K).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the melting point or melting range of the test item by the capillary method using an electronically controlled heating system, according to OECD 102 and following the GLP. The determination of the melting point was performed by visual judgement using the capillary method. In the preliminary test the test item melted at 152.9 °C. The test item showed all five stages of melting. The melting started at 148.4 °C. At 152.1 °C the last stage E of melting was reached. At the end of the test the test item was liquid.
