General Information

Name:
Titanium dihydride
Implementation:
EU
Remarks:

Flammability - The flammability of titanium hydride was tested according to UN Manual of tests and criteria N°1. The pile burned over a distance of 200 mm within 277 secondes. The test item is not a readily combustible solid in the sense of UN Manual of tests and Criteria Method N.1. TiH2 is not flammable solid according to chapter 2.7 of the GHS (CLP) regulations. However, TiH2 is classified according Transport Regulation, therefore and for safety reason TiH2 has been classified as Flammable solid Cat 1, H228 Only for SAFETY REASON and consistency with transport.
