Results

 

Two tests with different amounts of the test item were performed to determine the relative density at a temperature of 20 °C ± 0.01 °C. The following table compiles the results.

* The pressurizing-expansion cycles are performed until 5 subsequent volume measurements have a relative standard deviation (RSD) of ≤ 0.2 %.

 

The mean density of the test item at 20 °C is 1.3046 g/cm³.The relative density is calculated by dividing the density of the test item by the density of water at 4 °C (0.9999750 g/cm³).

 

The relative density is D420= 1.305.

 

Final Results

According to OECD Test Guidelines 109 (2012) and Regulation EC No. 440/2008 Part A. Method A.3., the relative density of the test item at 20 °C ± 0.01 °C (compared to water at 4 °C) is 1.305.

Conclusions:
A relative density value of 1.305 was determined for the test substance according to E.U. Method A.3.
