Executive summary:

Method:

Acute toxicity to aquatic invertebrates was tested following German standard DIN 38412 part 11, using nominal test substance concentrations of 0, 62.5, 125, 250 and 500 mg/l. Per each concentration, 20 daphnids were tested, divided in 4 replicates. Effects in terms of mobility were recorded 0 and 24 h after start of exposure.

Results:

EC50 (24h) > 500 mg/l.

Description of key information

Daphnia magna, EC50 (24h) > 500 mg/l (nominal)

Additional information

No data on target substance was available, thus a read across approach was followed, using data on Similar Substance 01. Details are reported in section 13.

Acute toxicity to aquatic invertebrates (Daphnia magna) was assessed according to German standard DIN 38412 part 11. Nominal concentrations on Similar Substance 01 were 0, 62.5, 125, 250 and 500 mg/l, divided in 4 replicates with 5 daphnids each, per concentration. Effects in terms of mobility were recorded 0 and 24 h after start of exposure.
