Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

One short-term toxicity study, valid without restrictions, with fish is available. The final test was conducted under semi-static (48 hour renewal) conditions in which groups of ten fish were exposed to 320, 560, 1000, 1800 and 3200 mg/L. The pH of each was adjusted to 7.0 before the addition of the fish. The highest nominal concentration at which no mortality occurred and the lowest at which 100% mortality occurred after 96 hours were 1000 and 3200 mg/L respectively. The calculated 96h-LC50 to fish is 1671 mg/L.
