Description of key information

Study scientifically not necessary / other information available: In accordance with Column 2 of REACH Annex VII, the study does not need to be conducted if there are no functional groups or other structural alerts present that indicate that this substance would spontaneously ignite in air when exposed to a hot surface (<200°C). This empirical evaluation is furthermore confirmed by long term handling experience.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Flammability:
non flammable

Additional information

Justification for classification or non-classification

Benzene, tetrapropylene-, distn. residues, sulfonated, sodium salts have no functional groups or other structural alerts present that indicate that this substance would spontaneously ignite in air when exposed to a hot surface (<200°C) and thus should not be classified as dangerous with respect to this endpoint.
