Additional information

Aquatic compartment

No effects on organisms were found in the acute aquatic ecotoxicity or in the chronic life-cycle toxicity to daphnia. In addition, the Bioconcentration factor (BCF) is 200 indicating that the substance is unlikely to bioaccumulate in aquatic organisms.

From the current data FR-370 is of no concern to aquatic compartment.

Terrestrial compartment

No effects on organisms were found in the toxicity studies to terrestrial organisms. The results of these studies lead to the conclusion that FR-370 is not toxic to terrestrial organisms.

The BCF value and ADME study indicates that FR-370 is not suspected to accumulate in food chain. Thus, the substance is not toxic to higher organisms.

Conclusion on classification

FR-370 is not classified for the environment.
