Additional information

No reliable key study is available for this endpoint.

The reliability of the available data was not assignable due to lack of information on the method applied and/or on the substance tested. Even if from secondary source, most of these data are from reference books and all the melting point values reported are in the narrow range of -8.6°C to -0.8°C. Therefore, a weight of evidence approach is considered as relevant to assess the melting point of the substance. As the lowest value, i.e. -8.6°C, is most often reported, it has been selected as the key value for the assessment of the substance.
