Description of key information

The flammability of the test substance is derived from its flash point. The flash point of the test substance was determined to be 55.5 °C. Therefore the test substance is considered to be a flammable liquid (cat 3)

The substance has no pyrophoric properties and does not liberate flammable gases on contact with water.

The substance is not a self-heating substance.

As the flash point of the substance is in the range of 23 to 60 °C, the substance has to be classified as Category 3: H226: Flammable liquid and vapour in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
