A minor quantity was isolated just for REACH registration purpose (analytical characterisation, environmental fate, ecotoxicological and toxicological properties).
The substance decomposes starting from 289.22 °C.
Properties as density and particle size are waived because the substance is always placed on market in solution and further investigations on the solid state does not provide additional useful information for the risk assessment.
The estimated vapour pressure for test substance is 3.12* 10^-7 Pa at T= 25 °C.
Tris(ethyl acetoacetato-O1',O3)aluminium is moderately soluble in water (0.4862 g/l at T= 23 °C ± 2 pH= 6.2.) and log Kow value is 0.72 at 25 °C and at pH = 7.
Surface activity is not expected property for this substance.
Since it is a solid, the flash point can be neglected.
Tris(ethyl acetoacetato-O1',O3)aluminium is not flammable and it is not explosive based on experimental study conducted on solid test item according to respectively method A.10 and method A.14 of the Regulation EC n. 440/2008.
