Description of key information

At 20°C and at pH 6.3 the following solubilities were found:

0.9 mg/L with a loading rate of 0.1 g/L

1.6 mg/L with a loading rate of 1.0 g/L

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The determination was carried out by flask method according to OECD Guideline 105.

The test item is a complex mixture. In addition to the determination via UV/VIS spectroscopy, the water solubility was therefore also investigated via determination of dissolved amounts of chromium, nitrogen and carbon, the main elements contained in the test item.

As result for the water solubility of the test item the values of the determination via UV/VIS spectroscopy can be preferably considered, because with this method the yellow colored compound were measured and the determinations via the elements largely confirm these results. On the other hand the results found via the elements show that there are no significant amounts of better water soluble by-products present in the test item.
