Flammable solids
Key result
Test procedure:
burning rate test: preliminary screening test
Burning time:
0 s
Remarks on result:
other: The flame extinguishes shortly after the gas burner is removed.

Any other information on results incl. tables

The test item was formed into a particle train. A hot flame from a gas burner with a diameter of about 6 mm is used to ignite the pile at one end. In the preliminary screening test the substance ignites by a hot flame from a gas burner. The flame extinguishes shortly after the gas burner is removed. According to the definition in the Council Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 that is pursuant to Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 the test item is not considered as flammable.

Applicant's summary and conclusion
