Specific details on test material used for the study:
4-(Methacryloyloxy)bezophenone: 97.26%
Benzophenone acetate: 1.95 %
Key result
Water solubility:
4 mg/L
Conc. based on:
test mat.
Temp.:
20 °C
pH:
>= 6.2 - <= 6.4
Details on results:
Method:
The water solubility of the test item was estimated using the column elution method. The saturation mass concentration of the test item
was determined using a HPLC method.

Result of the Preliminary Test (nonGLP):
The water solubility of the test item was estimated to be below 10 mg/L.

Result of the Main Test:
The saturation concentration of the test item was estimated using HPLC method. The linearity of the analytical method was proved in the concentration range from 0.5 to 15 mg test item!L. The regression coefficient (r2) was determined to be 0.9998.

Corresponding to the analysis the water solubility of the test item at 20 ± 1 °C was determined to be 4 mg/L.
Conclusions:
Corresponding to the analysis the water solubility of4-(Methacryloyloxy)benzophenone at 20 ± 1 °C was determined to be 4 mg/L.
Executive summary:

The water solubilty of 4 -(Methacryloyloxy)benzophenone is reported to be 4 mg/l at 20 +/- 1°C according to OECD guideline 105, adopted July 1995 and EU Method A., May 2008; column elution method.
