Additional information

The presented data refer to a structural analogue of the registration substance Urea, reaction products with formaldehyde, glyoxal and methanol. The long-term toxicity of the substance to Daphnia magna was tested in a study performed according to EG-guideline XI/681/86. In a semistatic test system the animals were exposed to the substance for 21 days and the reproduction was recorded. A NOEC (21 d) >= 100 mg/L was determined based on 70 % active ingredient in water. For 100 % active incredient a NOEC (21 d) >= 70 mg/L was calculated (BASF, 98/0419/51/3, 1999).
