Administrative data
First-aid measures
Eye contact: wash with large amounts of water or normal saline solution. Keep eyelid open with the finger. Get medical advice if adverse symptoms appear.
Skin contact: wash affected area with soap or mild detergent and large amount of water until no evidence of substance remains (15-20 minutes). Get medical advice if adverse symptoms appear.
Ingestion: if swallowed wash mouth with water, provided person is conscious. Treat symptomatically and supportively. Get medical advice.
Inhalation: avoid breathing dusts that may be generated by handling of the product. Remove the person from the exposed area to fresh air immediately. Get medical advice if adverse symptoms appear.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: CO2, water spray, dry powder or foam.
Unsuitable extinguishing media: not known
Hazardous combustion products: thermal decomposition or combustion may generate toxic and hazardous fumes (COx, NOx, HCl).
Special protective equipment for firefighters: cool containers and the surrounding areas with water. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA), protective equipments for eyes and face, boots, gloves, complying with the relevant EN standards.
Accidental release measures
For non-emergency personnel: no action shall be taken without suitable training. Evacuate personnel to safe areas. Ventilate areas. Remove all sources of ignition.
For emergency responders: stop the leak, if it can be done safely. Wear appropriate protective equipment to minimize exposure to the product.
In case of accidental release or spills, prevent entry of the substance into waterways, drains and sewers and contact with soil. If the substance has entered waterways, sewers or has contaminated the soil, notify the relevant authorities.
Containment techniques and cleaning up procedures: remove all sources of ignition. Sweep up avoiding raising dust and wearing appropriate protective equipment; clean up in wet conditions and hold for waste disposal. Wash the area with water.
Handling and storage
Recommendation for handling: handle with care, such as all chemical products. Avoid contact with eye and skin. Handle away from sources of ignition, in a well ventilated place. Grounding equipment is advisable. Keep the substance away from drains, surface or ground waters.
Recommendation for personal hygiene: do not eat, drink and smoke in the working areas. Wash hands after handling the substance. Remove contaminated clothing and protective equipment before entering eating areas.
Recommendations for storage: Avoid direct exposure to sunlight. Store in a cool, well ventilated, dry place. Keep containers tightly closed. Protect from moisture. Store in containers correctly labelled.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Stability and reactivity
The substance reacts with strong oxidizing and reducing agents, strong bases and acids.
The substance is stable at the normal condition of temperature and pressure and if stored in closed containers in a well ventilated and cool place.
Under recommended conditions of storage and use, no hazardous reactions occur.
Keep away from any source of heat.
Avoid contact with strong oxidizing agents.
Thermal decomposition products can include: COx, NOx, HCl. Under certain conditions (e.g. temperature, pressure, particle size dusts, humidity, concentration of oxidizing) it may form explosive mixtures with air.
