Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The thermal behaviour of the substance was tested by DSC. Between 25 and 150 °C, an endothermic peak was observed that was associated to the release of water/ solvent, followed by a degradation between 255 and 403 °C (onset at 295.2 °C, enthalpyof degradation = 437.3 J/g). According to the REACH Regulation (EC 1907/2006) Annex VII Column 2: the study does not need to be conducted for substances which decompose before boiling. Therefore, the boiling point determination does not need to be conducted.
