Groups of rats of both sexes were exposed to 0, 80, 400 or 1000 ppm of 2-Heptanone for 6 hours / days, 7 days / week.

Female rats received 34-47 exposures, male rats 50.

A transient reduction in the amount of feed consumed and a transient change in body weight was observed, but no changes in weight, macroscopic pathology or histopathology of the reproductive organs were found.
NOEL for reproduction and development toxicity of 1000 ppm.
