Conclusions:
The majority of the particles (87.5 %) has a size between 100 and 800 µm. 12.1 % of the particles are smaller than 100 µm but bigger than 40 µm. 0.1 % of the particles are smaller than 40 µm.
Executive summary:

800 -200 µm: 25.3 %

200 -150 µm: 35.6 %

150 -100 µm: 26.6 %

100 -71 µm: 9.8 %

71 -63 µm: 1.4 %

63 -40 µm: 0.9 %

< 40 µm: 0.1 %

800 -200 µm: 25.3 % w/w;

200 -150 µm: 35.6 % w/w;

150 -100 µm: 26.6 % w/w;

100 -71 µm: 9.8 % w/w;

71 -63 µm: 1.4 % w/w;

63 -40 µm: 0.9 % w/w;

< 40 µm: 0.1 % w/w

Additional information

The particle size distribution of iron glucoheptonate was measured with sieves (USP method; Dabeer, 2011). The majority of the particles (87.5 %) has a size between 100 and 800 µm. 12.1 % of the particles are smaller than 100 µm but bigger than 40 µm. 0.1 % of the particles are smaller than 40 µm.
