Description of key information

The test substance is not classified. No effects were seen in short-term toxicity studies in aquatic organisms. In an acute toxicity study performed on Oncorhynchus mykiss the 96-hour LL50 was determined to be >100 mg/L and the corresponding NOEC was determined to be 100 mg/L. Exposure to the registered substance is considered to be minimal based on the low concentration of the substance in the formulated and finished products. It is therefore considered that further animal use and testing is not justified.
