Additional information

Members of this category are not expected to be readily biodegradable based on proprietary studies. The data will be read-across to all other category members.

Structural analysis of the streams indicates that they are not expected to undergo hydrolysis due to the lack of hydrolysable functional groups. Experimental data are not available for any category members on bioaccumulation potential or Koc. In the absence of measured data, the BCF of these streams has been calculated based on log Kow for representative structures. The adsorption/desorption endpoint has been waived on the basis that standard tests for this endpoint are intended for single substances and are not appropriate for this complex substance. However, the Koc is characterized using quantitative structure property relationships for representative hydrocarbon structures that comprise the hydrocarbon blocks used to assess the environmental risk of this substance with the PETRORISK model (see Product Library in PETRORISK spreadsheet attached to IUCLID Section 13).
