Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

No experimental data on target substance was available for short term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates. Available data on Similar Substance 01 (purity 83 %) was used in a read across purpose. Details on read across procedure are reported in section 13.

Acute toxicity of test substance to daphnia magna was determined in a 48-hour static test according to the OECD guideline 202.

Nominal concentrations tested were 100 %, 50 %, 25 %, 12.5 % and 6.25 % of a saturated solution obtained from a nominal loading of 100 mg test substance/l. A negative control was also used.

Measured concentrations at time 0 h were below LOD of 0.04 mg/l in all loading levels; therefore, concentrations at 48 h were assumed to be below LOD, too.

At loading level of 25 % of saturated solution and below, no daphnids were found to be immobile; at 50 % and 100 %, 5/20 and 16/20 daphnids were immobile after 48 h of exposure. Effect levels at 48 h were derived: EL10 = 37.7 %, EL50 = 67.9 %, EL100 > 100 %.
