According to Annex XI, 1 testing is scientifically not necessary. Testing of flammability of solids is not necessary as the substance is only manufactured and used as 40% (w/w) solution in water.
Testing of reactivity with water and testing of generation of flammable gases in contact with water is not necessary as experience in handling and use implies no pyrophoric properties or flammability on contact with water.
