Additional information

In a 72h acute toxicity study, the cultures of Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata, strain HINDAK, SAG 61.81, were exposed to L-asparagine under static conditions according to OECD guideline 201 (2011) at nominal concentrations of 0 (control) and 114 mg/L, corresponding to 100 mg i.a./L. There were no abnormalties detected, the growth rate was not reduced. The NOEC, EC10 and EC50 based on the growth rate was 100 mg/L and > 100 mg/L, respectively.
