A reproduction test on aquatic invertebrates was performed with choline chloride according to OECD Guideline 211 (OECD 202 adopted in April 1984), following GLP. The following test item concentrations 0 (control), 3.2, 10, 32 and 100 mg/L were tested in a semi-static system. Ten groups of ten daphnids were exposed to the different concentrations of the test item or the control for 21 days. After 21 days, the LC50 of Daphnia magna was 100 mg/L (nominal) and 95.5 mg/L (measured). The 21 day-EC50 of test item in Daphnia magna was 58.9 mg/L and the 21 day-NOEC was 30.2 mg/L.
