Endpoint:
flash point of flammable liquids
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Study period:
12 Jun 2015 - 16 Jun 2015
Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
other: Study conducted to OECD and EC guidelines and in compliance with GLP
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
EU Method A.9 (Flash-Point)
Deviations:
no
GLP compliance:
yes (incl. QA statement)
Type of method:
closed cup
Flash point:
156 - 158 °C
Atm. press.:
1 025 mBar

The barometric pressure at the time of testing was 1025 mbar and, thus, no pressure correction was required. The duplicate determined flash points of Unjecol 85AN were 156°C and 158°C, the lower of which will be reported as the flash point for safety assessment reasons.

Conclusions:
The flash point of Unjecol 85AN was found to be 156°C.
